Stochasto ASA has a strong and committed leadership team. In one short year, they completed the sale and transfer of the anti-virus technology, launched products in Russia and the United States, and engineered an SMS platform to expand into search marketing.
Nielsen has worked in the Grieg Group since 1995, as managing director of Grieg Seafood for the period 1995-1998 and subsequently as managing director for Grieg Logistics for the period 1998-2004. Previous to his engagement in the Grieg Group, Mr. Nielsen has worked in Mølnlycke Health Care as country manager for Belgium from 1985-1987, country manager in Spain from 1988-1994 and as President of Mølnlycke Health Care Products from 1991-1995. He was also the CEO of Bennex in the period from 1984-1987. Mr. Nielsen is currently servicing as a board member in various companies. He holds a degree in business administration from the Norwegian School of Management and Business in 1975. Nielsen is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Bergen, Norway.
Ms. Mlodinow joined Stochasto in 2005 and brings over 25 years' experience in bringing new technologies to market. She was previously the marketing consultant for a mobile advertising joint venture including Sensis, Findexa, t-Mobile, and Telefonica. As an R&D executive, Mlodinow led the integration planning of the Alltheweb, Alta Vista and Yahoo! search systems after Yahoo! acquired Overture Services in 2003. She also co-founded iUnifi, PricewaterhouseCoopers' HR Internet portal product, and was a member of the roadshow team leading to its sale to Mellon Bank in 2001. Ms. Mlodinow is a US citizen and resides in Pasadena, California.
Mr. Wigstøl has over 15 years of experience within the biotechnology and diagnostics industry. He was previously the Managing Director in Qiagen's division for transplantation diagnostics, a biotechnology company listed on the NASDAQ. Wigstøl was also the co-founder and CEO of GenoVision which Qiagen acquired in 2002. He has also been the CFO of Dynal Biotech AS. Mr. Wigstøl also holds several other board positions, including Chairman of Genpoint AS and Nordiag ASA. Mr. Wigstøl is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo, Norway.
Ms. Sollid-Hansen has a background as founder of the consultancy company Digital Hverdag AS, which following a series of mergers is known as Cell Network, which is noted on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. For 3 years she held the position of vice president / strategic advisor for Forward Communications AS, which was later sold to One2com AB, which is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. She has sat on a number of Boards, and is a member of, among others, DnB Nor Kapitalforvaltning ASA, PSi Group ASA, Consafe Logistics and chairman of the board in TV Sunnmore. She is also the working Board Chairman in the investment company, Bastin AS. She graduated in Political Science from Molde College, with special courses in economics and administration, and is an approved communication advisor from the Oslo School of Business and Management.
Mr. Cory has a broad background in the international search engine industry. Most recently, he helmed Nevenvision which was purchased by Google in 2006. He was Senior Vice President in Overture Services (now Yahoo!) where he led an evaluation of the search engine market and the subsequent acquisitions of Alltheweb.com (from Fast Search and Transfer) and AltaVista. Prior to his time at Overture, Mr. Cory held executive positions at McKinsey and Cargill.
After a successful career as an internationally-renown musician, Mr. Shishov began angel investing in 1992. He funded and later introduced a Russian technology that formed the core of Photonyx, later Ignis AS, a Norwegian public company. Stochasto is his third successful company launch. Mr. Shishov is also the Chairman of Stocona AS in Moscow, Russia.
